FAQ
What is the invitation and stationery design process?
- Contact Us: To place any stationery order start by contacting us and letting us know what you are looking for! Click on the type of stationery needed and complete the form so that we are sure to have all of your necessary information. Please note the when to order by dates and lead times to avoid rush order fees.
- Proposal and Deposit: After our initial consultation we will prepare a price quote and proposal for you with all the details. Our price quotes are based on the information you submitted to us and may change if you make any changes to your order. The price quote is valid for 60 days; after 60 days prices are subject to change. If the proposal is agreeable then you can lock in your pricing and place in our production schedule by submitting your deposit. For Etsy clients we will post a custom listing, for all other clients we will send you a Paypal invoice to pay by credit card or you can pay the amount directly to us in the form of cash or check. You may also submit your payment by visiting our payment center. The deposit is included in your quoted price and will be deducted from your final balance. The deposit is non-refundable.
- Proofing: At this point, if you have not done so already, please submit all of your wording to us. If you need assistance with wording please fill out our wording form. Otherwise, feel free to e-mail it to us; kreativees@me.com. PDF Proofs will be e-mailed to you for review within 7 days from submittal of deposit and wording. At this time please send us any corrections or an approval. Large Orders Only (ie., wedding, bar or bat mitzvah, etc.): After the proofs have been approved we will complete a sample mock up and mail it to you for final approval. This generally takes up to 1 week, however during times of heavy volume it can take longer. Please note: Only 1 sample mock up is included per order. If you wish to request an additional mock up after making any changes they can be ordered for an additional $10.00.
- Approval: Once you have made any last and final changes to your order, please submit your final count and final approval to us by completing the Approval form. Once the final approval has been given you will not be able to make changes to your order without incurring additional fees and/or possibly delaying your order. When we receive this form we will post a custom listing on Etsy for our Etsy clients or send a Paypal invoice for the final balance for our local clients. Local clients may also pay the final balance via cash or check. Approval and final balance must be submitted no later than the date stated on your proposal in order to avoid any rush order fees or shipping delays.
- Print, Assemble & Ship: Sit back and relax, the rest of it is up to us! Once your order is completed we will ship via USPS Priority Mail with delivery confirmation and insurance.

Can I make an appointment to meet with the designer? Absolutely! Our designer loves to meet with clients to discuss their stationery suite and design preferences. Please be advised that we do not have an open studio at this time, so appointments are arranged off-site. Our designer is happy to travel up to 60 miles from Mount Laurel, NJ to meet with clients so it’s easy to work and meet with clients in NY, PA, DE and MD.
How much do invitations cost? Invitation costs can run the gamut in terms of pricing. If you are working within a particular budget we would be happy to offer you suggestions to keep within that budget. If you are trying to determine what amount to set aside for your dream invitation and stationery please view our collection to see pricing for each product. Please note that the pricing listed in the collection section is based on using a previously created design featured in our gallery.
Do you offer custom designed stationery? If you have a vision for your invitation or stationery piece and you cannot find anything in our Gallery that suites your needs then we will be happy to create a custom design for you.
How long does it take to receive my invitations? We deliver invitations and stationery based on event date. Orders placed during the suggested timeframe shown above will receive their invitations during the lead times listed. If you are hosting an event that is out of town for guests or is a destination, please let us know and we will try to accommodate an early ship by date. Rush services are available for an additional fee.
What printing method is used? We send most of our stationery orders out to a printer to be printed using a digital press. in some instances, we can not offer this service if the printer does not supply the particular paper needed or if it a rush order as it may not be completed on time. When items are not printed at the printer they are printed using our in house method, which is a quality wax-ink based printer.
How much will my invitation cost to mail? We highly recommend that you take one fully completed invitation set to your local post office to weigh and measure to determine the correct amount of postage. Kreative is unable to quote postage costs as each local post office may or may not qualify certain measurements as “machinable”.
